This jewel of a bar is known throughout the city as one of Philly’s most funky jazz scenes. Bob & Barbara’s Lounge has something for everyone. Come here to hear great, authentic jazz, put away some cheap drinks and even eat some chili dogs and chips, if you are so inclined. If you are a true music aficionado or just like a good social scene and happy hour, this is the place to be. This venue appeals to a diverse crowd. Its not unusual to see a gaggle of 20 somethings hanging out listening to a trio of seventy year olds playing jazz. Be sure to check out the Crowd Pleasers jam on Sunday nights.
